Remodeling
HERE’S WHAT’S HAPPENED IN WORDS–
- CHURCH OFFICES have been re-located to the FPC house next door (Swenson House, 178 W. Center), used also for studies and meetings.
- PARKING - A new concrete parking lot with ADA compliant parking and an adjacent ramp lead to a new elevator on the east side.
- HANDICAP ACCESS – For the first time in the church’s history, wheelchair access is available to all areas of the church, FPC Swenson House and to four ADA compliant bathrooms.
- THE FORMER GYM is transformed into air-conditioned Miner Bruner Hall with improved lighting, decor, acoustics, and a modular stage that enables FPC to offer alternative worship styles, community events, religious drama, large dinners and workshops.
- A NEW COMMERCIAL KITCHEN is located next to Bruner Hall.
- NEW LANDSCAPING has been installed and a Peace Garden is under construction.
